KIDS AT FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST
We have three main goals as we raise up our kids at Fellowship Baptist: the Word, prayer and praise. Here is how we hope to reach those goals.
Kids in the Word – Our children’s Sunday School is where we focus on teaching the Word of God.
This year we are teaching our children about what the Bible says about the greatness of God.
Sunday School starts at 9:30 AM. We offer graded Sunday classes that run year round (we do take
6 weeks off in the summer). We have a low teacher/student ratio so children have mentoring adults
in their life.
Kid Praise – On Wednesday afternoon, kids can be involved in an after- school music program from
4:14-5:30. Kid Praise runs throughout the school year and choirs are organized by age groups.
Children learn music theory, praise & worship songs and even drama. Every year the kids perform a
Christmas program and a spring program.
Kid Prayer – On Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 our kids can
learn how to be prayer warriors for Jesus. Kid Prayer runs year
round and is also organized in age groups. Kids pray for church
needs, missionaries and current events. Kids also learn about all the
different aspects of prayer and even how to prayer walk.
Kids in Life Group – Life groups at Fellowship also provide children in our church with time in the word, praise and prayer. They are able to watch adults practice their faith and to be encouraged by other adults. Children’s materials are also provided during these weekly home small groups.
Vacation Bible School is every June for kids from Kindergarten thru sixth grade.
Kids camp takes place every July for kids that have completed third thru sixth grade.
Kids for the King is our Halloween alternative for kids of all ages every October 31st.
